A Boston College study titled, “The Joys and Dilemmas of Wealth,” on high, net-worth Americans was released privately to The Atlantic magazine last April. It provides a fascinating introspection into the lives of those with enormous wealth (the average respondent having about $78 million in net worth).

But even though we’re taught those cheers and unmentionable traits, sororities don’t get the credit they should get when it comes to teaching us young women a valuable lesson in life…The importance of giving.

Many of the higher education clients that I have worked with in the past year have solicited charitable gift annuity contracts from alumni attending class year reunions. Alumni are encouraged to consider this gift option and join their classmates in making a commitment that counts toward their reunion gift total. Read more...

I don’t know if you heard, but last Friday, Prince William officially took a princess—or a duchess technically. I’d be lying if I said the whole thing didn’t captivate me—I even took a day off work to have a viewing party with my sister-in-law. (Yep, that happened.)
